Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Software Engineer to join our
Data Engineering team.
- This role requires solid understanding of
data-driven systems and data engineering concepts.
- As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize data processing solutions using Python and Big Query workflows on Google Cloud Platform.
- The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable, performant systems and mentoring junior engineers.
Qualifications
-
Strong experience (5+ years) with Python/Scala programming language.
- Hands-on experience with
databases (SQL & NoSQL like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery).
- Experience with
Apache Spark for big data processing
- knowledge of
data engineering concepts (ETL pipelines, batch processing with Spark/Flink/Google Workflows).
- Experience with GCP/AWS.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform
- Proficient with Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Advantageous to have experience on below:
- Hands-on with Databricks for unified data analytics, including Databricks Notebooks, Delta Lake, and Catalogues
- Experience in
retail media / ad-tech or data-heavy domains.
- Understanding of
distributed systems.
- Exposure to
machine learning data pipelines.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Grafana.
- Good to have AWS/GCP certification.
