Job Summary
Ramsons Perfumes Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical Inventory Control & Stock Audit Executive to strengthen our Internal Audit and Inventory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting physical stock verification, reconciling inventory with ERP records, identifying stock discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with inventory control procedures across warehouses and depots.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical stock audits and inventory verification at company warehouses and depots.
- Reconcile physical stock with:
- Depot inventory records
- Tally ERP 9/Prime stock balances
- Identify and report inventory variances, shortages, excess stock, damaged goods, expired inventory, pilferage, and unrecorded stock movements.
- Evaluate inventory condition, shelf life, packaging quality, and storage practices.
- Audit inventory-related documents, including:
- Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
- Stock inward and outward registers
- Dispatch records
- Bin cards
- Coordinate with Depot, Accounts, Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Analyze stock transactions, material movement, and cycle count reports.
- Monitor compliance with inventory control procedures, FIFO/LIFO practices, and company SOPs.
- Conduct surprise stock checks, spot verifications, and support monthly/quarterly stock closures.
- Prepare stock audit reports, MIS reports, reconciliation statements, and exception reports.
- Assist Internal Audit teams during financial audits, inventory risk assessments, and forensic reviews.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in Inventory Control, Stock Audit, Warehouse Operations, or Internal Audit.
- Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Trading, or Distribution industries will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9/Prime.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, data analysis).
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will be an added advantage.
- Strong inventory reconciliation and documentation skills.
- Good understanding of:

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Bengali will be an advantage for the Kolkata location.
Preferred Competencies
- Experience in FMCG, Perfumes, Cosmetics, or Manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of inventory ageing analysis, dead stock management, and stock optimization.
- Understanding of Internal Audit processes, Risk Control Matrix (RCM), and compliance procedures.
- Familiarity with inventory KPIs such as:
- Inventory Accuracy
- Stock Turnover Ratio
- Damage/Loss Percentage
- Inventory Variance Analysis
