Job Summary
The Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. The role involves adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining production records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment as per SOPs.
- Monitor machine performance and process parameters.
- Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or quality issues.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production and shift records.
- Follow safety, health, and environmental (SHE) guidelines.
- Maintain housekeeping as per 5S standards.
- Assist in machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime.
Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience are eligible.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery.
- Understanding of safety and quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
