Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Nutritionist with experience in sales, customer consultation, and nutraceutical products. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer nutritional requirements, providing appropriate product guidance, supporting sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct nutrition consultations and understand customers' health and nutritional requirements.
- Explain the benefits, usage, ingredients, and appropriate application of nutraceutical products to customers.
- Recommend suitable nutraceutical products based on customer requirements and within professional guidelines.
- Generate sales through product consultation, follow-ups, and customer engagement.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales targets.
- Handle customer queries related to nutrition, supplements, vitamins, minerals, and nutraceutical products.
- Follow up with customers to monitor product usage, satisfaction, and repeat-purchase opportunities.
- Maintain proper records of consultations, product recommendations, sales, and customer follow-ups.
- Coordinate with the medical, nutrition, pharmacy, and sales teams as required.
- Educate customers on proper product usage and general healthy lifestyle practices.
- Build long-term customer relationships and contribute to customer retention.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in nutrition, dietary supplements, and nutraceutical products.
- Ensure that all product information and communication are accurate and compliant with company guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Nutritionist/Dietitian, preferably with nutraceutical or supplement sales experience.
- Experience in consultative selling or healthcare product sales will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of vitamins, minerals, dietary supplements, and nutraceutical products.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, counselling, and convincing skills.
- Customer-focused approach with good sales ability.
- Ability to work towards and achieve sales targets.
- Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain customer records.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with experience in Nutrition + Nutraceutical Product Sales + Customer Consultation will be given preference.
