Job Summary
Task Force Interiors Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and proactive Site Engineer – Interior Fit-Out to oversee and manage day-to-day execution activities at project sites in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all interior fit-out works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and safety requirements.
The role requires excellent site management skills, strong technical knowledge of commercial interior works, and the ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure timely project completion.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesSite Execution & Project Coordination
- Supervise day-to-day execution of interior fit-out works at project sites.
- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, BOQs, specifications, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and clients for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed as per project schedules and milestones.
- Identify execution challenges and implement timely corrective actions to prevent project delays.
Interior Fit-Out Works Supervision
- Supervise execution of gypsum partitions, false ceilings, flooring, painting, wall finishes, joinery, modular furniture installation, glass works, and finishing activities.
- Coordinate MEP activities with civil and interior works to ensure seamless execution.
- Verify workmanship quality and ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and client expectations.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Conduct regular quality inspections during project execution.
- Ensure materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications.
- Monitor snagging activities and ensure timely rectification of observations.
- Maintain high-quality standards throughout project execution and handover.
Material Management & Resource Monitoring
- Monitor site material requirements, utilization, storage, and consumption.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Verify incoming materials against approved specifications.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to minimize wastage and damage.
Project Monitoring & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), work progress reports, material reports, and site documentation.
- Track daily site activities and maintain records of inspections, measurements, approvals, and project correspondence.
- Report project progress, resource requirements, and site challenges to the Project Manager.
- Maintain proper documentation for project execution and handover.
Safety & Site Management
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, HSE standards, and client safety requirements.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure mandatory PPE usage by all site personnel.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Promote safe work practices across all project activities.
Project Handover & Closure
- Assist in final inspections, snag rectification, and project close-out activities.
- Ensure all pending works are completed before project handover.
- Support preparation of handover documentation and as-built records.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and clients to ensure smooth project completion and handover.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of commercial interior fit-out execution and site management.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Good understanding of BOQs, specifications, construction methodologies, and project schedules.
- Strong site coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively in fast-paced project environments.
- Strong focus on quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and construction drawings.
- Familiarity with project reporting and documentation tools.
- Understanding of interior materials, joinery works, modular furniture installation, and MEP coordination.
Eligibility Criteria Education
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Interior Fit-Out Projects.
- Experience in corporate offices, healthcare, retail, hospitality, educational, or commercial interior projects.
- Proven experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel and work across project sites in and around Nagpur as required.
