Hiring: Senior Executive – Indirect Tax
Location: Andheri West, Mumbai
Reliance Entertainment Studios Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Executive – Indirect Tax to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in GST compliance, reconciliations, departmental notices, audits, and litigation support, with the ability to manage end-to-end indirect tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including timely filing and review of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, and related reconciliations.
- Perform monthly reconciliations between Books, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-2B, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims.
- Independently prepare for GST notices, Show Cause Notices (SCNs), assessments, departmental queries, audit observations, and DRC/ASMT proceedings, coordinating with consultants for respond and tax authorities where required.
- Ensure accurate GST classification, HSN/SAC mapping, Place of Supply determination, tax payments, and statutory compliance across multiple GST registrations.
- Manage vendor GST compliance, ITC reconciliations, mismatch resolution, and follow-ups with accountants.
- Maintain GST compliance calendars, trackers, documentation, SOPs, and ensure adherence to all statutory deadlines.
- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits while partnering with Finance, Legal, and Business teams on GST-related matters.
- Stay updated with changes in GST laws, notifications, and circulars, and recommend process improvements to strengthen compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Com (CA Inter/CMA Inter/MBA Finance preferred)
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Indirect Tax/GST compliance.
- Strong experience in GST returns, reconciliations, departmental notices, audits, and litigation support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tally Prime (ERP experience is an added advantage).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
