Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Research & Development
- Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and emerging industry trends.
- Analyze competitor products, pricing, and market positioning.
- Identify customer needs and recommend innovative product ideas.
- Coordinate the complete product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Prepare product specifications and documentation.
Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor product development projects.
- Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Prepare project progress reports for management.
- Identify project risks and recommend effective solutions.
Product Design & Branding
- Coordinate with graphic designers and product designers for product packaging, labels, branding, and promotional materials.
- Review and improve product designs to meet market expectations.
- Ensure consistency with the company's brand identity.
Vendor & Procurement Coordination
- Identify and evaluate suppliers and manufacturers.
- Coordinate with the Purchase department for sourcing products and raw materials.
- Compare quotations and negotiate with vendors when required.
- Maintain supplier records and monitor supplier performance.
Marketing & Sales Support
- Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams during product launches.
- Prepare product presentations, brochures, catalogues, and promotional materials.
- Support product positioning and promotional campaigns.
- Gather customer feedback and recommend product improvements.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project files, product databases, and supplier information.
- Prepare market research reports, project updates, and product performance reports.
- Ensure proper documentation of all product development activities.
