Key Responsibilities
- To review third-party audits for FSSAI compliance, ISO 22000 certification, and related food safety standards.
- Assess client processes against FSSAI regulations (e.g., licensing, labeling, and hygiene requirements) and ISO 22000 frameworks, identifying gaps and non-conformities.
- Prepare detailed reports, corrective action recommendations, and certification documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Support certification issuance, surveillance audits, and recertification processes to ensure ongoing adherence.
- Collaborate with clients, regulatory bodies (e.g., FSSAI), and internal teams to resolve compliance issues and promote continuous improvement.
- Maintain audit records, update certification databases, and contribute to internal quality assurance for the certification body's processes.
- Stay updated on evolving FSSAI regulations and ISO standards to enhance service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Completion of internal auditor training for ISO 22000 or equivalent food safety management systems. (Preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of FSSAI regulations, third-party auditing methodologies, and certification protocols.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.
