About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finished Goods (FG) Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate stock control, timely dispatches, and seamless coordination with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, driving operational excellence, implementing warehouse best practices, and leading a high-performing warehouse team in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finished Goods Inventory Management
- Manage end-to-end Finished Goods inventory while ensuring accurate stock records and complete inventory traceability.
- Ensure proper product identification, storage, labeling, and inventory segregation.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and prevent stock losses or damages.
2. Warehouse Operations Management
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receipt of finished goods from production, storage, stock movement, transfers, and dispatch preparation.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage capacity for maximum space utilization.
- Ensure smooth material flow while adhering to operational SOPs.
3. Inventory Accuracy & Stock Control
- Conduct daily cycle counts and monthly physical stock verification.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform variance analysis.
- Ensure ERP inventory matches physical stock at all times.
- Implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
4. ERP & Inventory Transactions
- Ensure timely and accurate ERP entries for:
- Finished Goods receipt
- Stock transfers
- Dispatches
- Customer returns
- Stock adjustments
- Inventory reconciliation
- Maintain complete inventory documentation and transaction records.
5. Dispatch Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate closely with Sales, PPC, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams for timely order fulfilment.
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, loading, and dispatch of customer orders.
- Monitor dispatch schedules to achieve on-time delivery performance.
6. Inventory Monitoring & Stock Ageing
- Monitor stock ageing, slow-moving inventory, blocked stock, and obsolete inventory.
- Analyze inventory turnover and recommend corrective actions.
- Support management in reducing inventory holding costs.
7. Warehouse Organization & 5S Implementation
- Maintain an organized warehouse through proper rack allocation, bin management, and visual identification systems.
- Drive implementation and compliance with 5S and warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Ensure efficient warehouse layout and storage optimization.
8. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse personnel.
- Allocate daily work assignments and monitor team productivity.
- Conduct performance evaluations and identify training requirements.
- Ensure adherence to warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and company policies.
9. MIS Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports including:
- Inventory Status
- Stock Accuracy
- Dispatch Performance
- Stock Ageing Analysis
- Warehouse KPIs
- Present insights and recommendations to management for operational improvements.
10. Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety regulations, audit requirements, and organizational policies.
- Identify improvement opportunities to enhance warehouse productivity and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory control and process optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Additional certifications in Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.
Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in Finished Goods Warehouse Management or Inventory Management within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems for warehouse and inventory management.
- Experience managing warehouse teams and dispatch operations.
