Project Title Validation of a Translatable Chronobiological Signature of Early Relapse in Bipolar Disorder
Job description • Screening and recruitment of subjects at a clinical study site at New Delhi
- Structured interviews of mental health patients (Bipolar Disorder)
- Actigraphy measurements for Rest‐activity rhythms (RARs), Isolation of mononuclear cells from
peripheral blood
- Data analysis, presentation of work, and manuscript writing
- Any other work related to the project or as assigned by the PI
Period of Appointment The appointment will be on a purely temporary basis for 9 months, starting as soon as
possible
Remuneration INR 93,000/- + 27% HRA
Required Qualifications MBBS + Post Graduate Degree (MD), including the integrated PG degrees with 3 years post-
qualification experience
Or
MBBS with MPH/PhD with 3 years post-qualification experience.
Essential Experience Candidates with prior experience in the following areas will be given preference.
- MD in Psychiatry with experience in mental health research with scientific publications
in standard psychiatry-related journals
- Experience in clinical projects involving human subjects with mental disorders
- Experience in circadian biology and sleep research
Age Limit Not more than 45 years as on the last day of application, relaxations for SC/ST/OBC as per
standard government norms.
Selection Procedure Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their academic records and relevant
work experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified via email about the online
