Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial/Data Analyst with 2–4 years of experience to support our Finance and Business Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis, data reporting, and accounting principles, along with advanced Excel skills. This role is responsible for transforming financial and operational data into meaningful insights that support business planning and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data from multiple business units.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, and key financial performance indicators.
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Reconcile financial data and ensure the accuracy of reports.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams to provide actionable business insights.
- Develop and automate reports using Excel and business intelligence tools wherever possible.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure accurate reporting across departments.
- Assist in month-end closing, financial reporting, and ad hoc analysis as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Data Analysis, MIS Reporting, or Accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, advanced formulas, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and business data.
- Experience preparing MIS reports, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Hospitality, F&B, Retail, or multi-location business operations.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Exposure to business intelligence and data visualization tools will be an added advantage.
