About the Role:
We are looking for an Export Sustainability Back Office Executive to support our Export, Sustainability and Compliance functions. The role will be responsible for managing buyer sustainability requirements, ESG data, export documentation, certification records, audit documentation and sustainability MIS.
The ideal candidate should be strong in documentation, Excel, data management, coordination and compliance follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage export and customer-related documentation and trackers.
- Coordinate with international buyers for sustainability questionnaires and data requirements.
- Collect, verify and consolidate ESG and sustainability data.
- Prepare monthly sustainability MIS, reports and dashboards.
- Maintain records related to energy, water, waste, GHG emissions, recycling and other sustainability KPIs.
- Support sustainability and social/environmental compliance audits.
- Maintain certification records and renewal trackers.
- Support audits/certifications such as GRS, RCS, OEKO-TEX, SMETA/Sedex, SLCP, Higg FEM, ISO 14001 and customer-specific programs.
- Maintain audit evidence, CAPA trackers and corrective-action closure records.
- Coordinate with HR, Production, Quality, EHS, Stores, Finance and Export teams.
- Ensure timely submission of buyer and management reports.
- Maintain proper document control and traceability.
Candidate Profile
Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate in Commerce, Business, Management, Textile, Sustainability or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years in any of the following:
- Export documentation
- Sustainability / ESG
- Buyer compliance
- Textile / spinning / garment industry
- Social or environmental compliance
- Audit documentation
- MIS / reporting
Must-Have Skills:
- Advanced MS Excel – XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, dashboards
- Strong documentation and data-management skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Strong follow-up and coordination ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Understanding of international buyer requirements
Preferred Exposure:
Experience with GRS / RCS, OEKO-TEX, Sedex/SMETA, SLCP, Higg FEM, ISO 14001, ESG reporting, carbon/GHG data, energy, water and waste reporting will be an added advantage.
