Job Description – Customer Data Platform Manager
Job Purpose
To lead the strategic implementation and ongoing optimization of the Customer Data Platform (CDP) using Adobe Real-Time CDP. This role is central to enabling personalized digital experiences, enhancing data integrity, and driving impactful cross-channel marketing through unified customer profiles.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and manage Adobe Real-Time CDP
- Enforce data governance and privacy protocols (e.g., GDPR compliance)
- Develop audience segments and orchestration strategies for personalization
- Leverage customer data insights to enhance targeting, segmentation, and remarketing
- Measure impact of CDP-led initiatives on business KPIs and digital campaigns
Major Challenges
- Data integration across diverse systems (DMS, SVOC, Adobe Suite)
- Managing platform complexity and tailoring CDP configurations
- Ensuring data hygiene and real-time accuracy of customer profiles
- Quantifying the effectiveness of personalized journeys and audience targeting
Decision Authority
- Defining audience logic and segmentation for marketing initiatives
- Managing identity resolution across anonymous/known profiles
- Establishing data access and retention policies
- Prioritizing data enhancement initiatives to support marketing use cases

Skills & Experience
Education:
- Graduate in Engineering (B.E), MBA or Master’s in Data Analytics, Digital Marketing
Experience:
- 2–6 years in data management or customer intelligence roles
- Hands-on experience with CDP platforms like Adobe Real-Time CDP
