Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Head to lead and drive overall business growth for the Daman region. The role involves developing and executing regional business strategies, driving liabilities and retail asset growth, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring profitability across banking products and services. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, market expansion expertise, and deep understanding of retail banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive achievement of overall business targets for the Daman region
- Develop and execute regional business growth strategies across banking products and digital platforms
- Identify market expansion opportunities across mass market and affluent customer segments
- Drive sales and revenue generation across:
- Savings & Current Accounts (CASA)
- Retail Loans
- Credit Cards
- Investments
- MSME Products
- Insurance Products
- Manage and expand the CASA base and retail asset portfolio
- Lead product enhancement initiatives aligned with customer needs and market trends
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence
- Monitor and improve customer retention and Net Promoter Score (NPS)
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, internal policies, and risk management frameworks
- Mitigate operational, credit, and reputational risks
- Lead, mentor, and manage high-performing branch and sales teams
- Build a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability
Candidate Requirements:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline
- Certification in Sales, Marketing, Banking, or related fields preferred
- Strong experience in Banking Business Development, Retail Banking, Branch Banking, or Regional Business Management
- Proven experience in driving liabilities, CASA, retail assets, and branch business growth
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team handling capabilities
- Excellent understanding of retail banking products, customer acquisition, and market development

Designation and salary will be based on qualifications and relevant experience.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
