Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting activities including journal entries, general ledger, and expense tracking.
- Oversee hospital billing reconciliations and verify patient accounts and third-party payments (insurance, TPAs).
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy in supplier and vendor payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, patient deposits, and internal department balances regularly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits, including maintaining proper documentation.
- Assist in budgeting and cost analysis related to hospital services, departments, and units.
- Work closely with the billing, procurement, pharmacy, and HR departments for financial coordination.
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff and ensure adherence to accounting standards and hospital policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA Inter/MBA in Finance preferred).
- 4–6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in hospital information systems (HIS), ERP accounting software, and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation (GST, TDS), and compliance related to hospitals.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management or medical billing systems.
- Knowledge of NABH and statutory audit practices in hospitals.
- Familiarity with insurance claims and Third Party Administrator (TPA) processes.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems).
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Hospital Sector is most proffered
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other applicable local taxation laws (for Indian companies).
