Job Summary:
The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, supervising, and monitoring all civil construction activities at the project site. The role ensures that work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The incumbent will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to achieve successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedules.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within the approved budget.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP engineers, contractors, and vendors for seamless project execution.
- Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies before execution.
- Verify measurements and certify contractor bills in coordination with the quantity survey team.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain construction quality and workmanship.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage at the project site.
- Ensure timely availability of construction materials and resources.
- Implement and enforce all site safety procedures and statutory compliance requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
- Identify construction challenges and provide effective technical solutions.
- Coordinate with the planning team to achieve project milestones.
- Guide, mentor, and supervise junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
- Ensure proper documentation of site records, inspections, approvals, and project reports.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide progress updates.
- Ensure completion of snag lists and coordinate timely rectification before project handover.
- Support project handover activities and final documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil).
- 6–10 years of experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in RCC structures, finishing works, and project execution.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies and site execution.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and construction standards.
- Good understanding of estimation, billing, BOQ, and quantity verification.
- Knowledge of construction materials and execution techniques.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and statutory compliance.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, ERP systems, and project reporting tools.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
