Procurement LeadWhat this job involves: As a Procurement Lead at JLL, you'll serve as a strategic advisor and operational leader for a prestigious client, driving procurement excellence across their real estate and facilities portfolio. This role puts you at the center of high-impact decision-making, where you'll develop and execute category strategies, negotiate complex supplier agreements, and build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners. You'll lead strategic sourcing initiatives, manage supplier performance, identify cost optimization opportunities, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry best practices. What your day-to-day will look like: Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing processes including market analysis, RFP development, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor onboarding for facilities management, construction, professional services, and other real estate-related categories
Develop and maintain category management strategies aligned with the client's business objectives, identifying consolidation opportunities, supplier diversification needs, and emerging market trends that drive value
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the client organization, serving as a trusted advisor on procurement matters and translating business requirements into effective sourcing strategies
Manage a portfolio of supplier relationships, conducting regular business reviews, tracking KPIs, resolving performance issues, and ensuring contract compliance throughout the supplier lifecycle
Analyze spend data and market intelligence to identify cost savings opportunities, negotiate favorable terms and pricing structures, and implement initiatives that deliver tangible financial impact
Collaborate with legal, finance, risk management, and operations teams to ensure procurement activities align with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies
Champion sustainability and social value initiatives within the supply chain, working with suppliers to advance ESG goals and promote responsible procurement practices
Prepare executive-level reports and presentations that communicate procurement performance, savings achievements, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Minimum 7 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or management capacity within corporate real estate, facilities management, or professional services environments
Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing methodologies, category management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
Strong analytical capabilities with proven ability to interpret complex spend data, conduct market analysis, and develop data-driven procurement strategies
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior executives and cross-functional teams
Deep understanding of procurement best practices, compliance requirements, risk management principles, and emerging trends in supply chain management
Proficiency with procurement systems, e-sourcing platforms, contract management tools, and advanced Microsoft Excel and data visualization software
Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
Experience managing procurement operations for large, complex, or multinational client accounts in the commercial real estate or facilities management sectors
Knowledge of sustainability frameworks, ESG reporting standards, and socially responsible procurement practices
Track record of implementing procurement transformation initiatives, process improvements, or technology solutions that delivered measurable business impact
Familiarity with construction procurement, project-based sourcing, and capital expenditure categories specific to real estate portfolios
