Job Title: Audio Video Repair Technician
Department: Technical Services / Service Center
Reports To: Service Manager / Technical Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Audio Video Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and maintaining a wide range of audio and video equipment. The role requires strong technical knowledge of electronics, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide quality service while meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults in audio and video equipment using appropriate testing tools.
- Repair and replace defective electronic components, circuit boards, connectors, and power supplies.
- Perform preventive maintenance on AV equipment to ensure reliable performance.
- Install, configure, and test audio and video systems when required.
- Conduct functional testing and quality checks after repairs.
- Read and interpret circuit diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate repair records, service reports, and inventory usage.
- Communicate repair status, costs, and recommendations to customers or internal teams.
- Follow safety procedures and company quality standards.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Stay updated on new AV technologies, products, and repair techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI/Certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in repairing audio and video equipment (preferred).
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and hands-on training may also be considered.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Experience repairing LED/LCD/OLED TVs, amplifiers, speakers, home theater systems, projectors, and PA systems.
- Proficiency in soldering, PCB repair, and component-level troubleshooting.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as:
- Digital Multimeter
- Oscilloscope
- Signal Generator
- Soldering/Rework Station
- Understanding of HDMI, USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and audio/video signal standards.
- Ability to read circuit diagrams and technical manuals.

Working Conditions
- Service center, workshop, or customer site.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kolkata, West Bengal
