The Electrical Tender Costing Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects. The role involves analyzing tender documents, preparing BOQs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely submission of bids in compliance with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Float enquiries to vendors and subcontractors; evaluate quotations technically and commercially.
- Prepare rate analysis and cost comparisons.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for inputs.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements and submission deadlines.
- Prepare technical and commercial bid documents.
- Maintain records of past tenders, rates, and cost databases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in tendering and estimation.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and SLDs.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and codes (IS/IEC).
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
