POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for an ambitious and technically strong Business Development Manager who can drive customer acquisition, develop strategic partnerships, and build long-term relationships across the aerospace, defence, space, and precision engineering ecosystem.
The role requires someone who understands B2B industrial sales, has experience in engineering/manufacturing sectors, and can work closely with OEMs, procurement teams, and private sector manufacturers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Development & Sales Growth
- Identify new business opportunities in aerospace, defence, and precision engineering sectors
- Generate enquiries and build project pipeline for machining and manufacturing opportunities
- Drive revenue growth through strategic account acquisition and long-term partnerships
- Develop annual sales plans and growth strategy aligned with company objectives
2. Technical Sales & Customer Development
- Understand customer drawings, manufacturing requirements and technical specifications
- Coordinate with internal production and engineering teams for feasibility and costing discussions
- Present manufacturing capabilities including CNC machining, precision engineering, metallurgy and advanced materials expertise
- Support RFQ management, quotations and commercial negotiations
3. Market Intelligence
- Track upcoming defence and aerospace programs in India
- Monitor supplier opportunities in defence procurement ecosystem
- Identify vendor registration opportunities with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
- Track competitor capabilities and industry developments
4. Strategic Partnerships
- Build partnerships within aerospace and defence ecosystem
- Develop export opportunities in aerospace manufacturing supply chains
- Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences and vendor development programs
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5–10 years experience in B2B industrial sales / business development
- Experience in aerospace, defence manufacturing, precision machining, industrial engineering, or automotive/heavy engineering
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, manufacturing processes and engineering products
- Experience handling enterprise or government accounts preferred
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to travel extensively for customer meetings and business development

COMPENSATION
Competitive salary + performance-linked incentives based on business generated.
Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
