Job Summary
Espire Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Housekeeping to join Hotel Country Inn Jalandhar. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hotel housekeeping operations, team leadership, and maintaining high cleanliness standards while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department.
- Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas meet brand cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Supervise and lead housekeeping associates, room attendants, and public area staff.
- Prepare daily work schedules and allocate duties effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry departments for smooth operations.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen inventory, and guest amenities.
- Ensure proper handling of lost & found items as per company policies.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to improve productivity and service quality.
- Maintain housekeeping records, reports, and inventory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company SOPs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, cleaning equipment, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with hotel PMS and housekeeping operations is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
