Position Overview
The Secretary to the Managing Director (MD) provides high-level administrative support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and effective communication between the MD and internal/external stakeholders. This role requires discretion, organizational excellence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage the MD’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Correspondence Management: Draft, review, and manage emails, letters, and official communications on behalf of the MD.
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, take minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Information Management: Maintain confidential files, records, and documents with accuracy and discretion.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.
- Office Management: Oversee office supplies, logistics, and ensure smooth administrative operations.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation required by the MD.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a secretary, executive assistant, or similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Reporting Structure

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
