Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete product development lifecycle for skincare, haircare, personal care, and cosmetic products.
- Develop innovative formulations aligned with market trends and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Marketing, R&D, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Regulatory teams for successful product launches.
- Conduct competitor analysis, trend research, and consumer insights to identify new product opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Manage formulation trials, stability studies, product validation, and scale-up activities.
- Drive cost optimization and sourcing of new raw materials and packaging solutions.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and commercialization plans.
- Build and mentor a high-performing NPD team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- 10–15+ years of experience in New Product Development within the Cosmetics/Personal Care industry.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulations, ingredients, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in launching successful cosmetic products.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
