Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, program, and commission PLC systems for industrial automation projects
- Develop logic using Ladder Logic, Function Block, and Structured Text
- Work with PLC brands such as:
- Siemens (S7-1200 / 1500)
- Allen-Bradley (CompactLogix / ControlLogix)
- Delta / Schneider / Mitsubishi (as applicable)
- Develop and integrate HMI/SCADA systems (WinCC, FactoryTalk, Weintek, Delta HMI, etc.)
- Interface PLC with:
- VFDs, Servo Drives
- Sensors, actuators, safety devices
- Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP)
- Perform panel testing, FAT, SAT, commissioning & troubleshooting
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in PLC programming
- Strong knowledge of:
- Industrial automation systems
- Control panels & wiring diagrams
- Electrical schematics reading
- Experience in VFD & drive parameterization
- Basic knowledge of:
- Industrial networking
- SCADA alarm & data logging concepts
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites when required
- Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical & Production teams
- Handle on-site installation and commissioning support
- Prepare technical documentation, I/O lists, logic descriptions, and manuals
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality procedures
