Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled VMC Operator to operate and maintain Haas Vertical Milling Machines for machining activities. The candidate should have knowledge of programming, machine setting, machining operations, and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Machine Details:
- Vertical Milling Machine: Haas
- VMC – 3 Axis
- Machine Travel:
- X-Axis = 800 mm
- Y-Axis = 400 mm
- Z-Axis = 350 mm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Haas VMC 3-Axis machine efficiently and safely.
- Perform machine programming and setting activities.
- Carry out milling, drilling, chamfering, tapping, and related machining operations.
- Set scaling for tapping and drilling operations.
- Control and adjust RPM settings based on material and operation requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of machined components.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance of the machine.
- Monitor tooling condition and coordinate tool changes when required.
- Maintain production records and follow production schedules.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and follow safety procedures.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of VMC machine operation and programming.
- Understanding of machining processes and cutting parameters.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Knowledge of tool setting and RPM calculation.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field.
Experience:
- 2 to 5 Years preferred in machining or manufacturing industry.
