Industry: Chemical Liquid Manufacturing
The Production Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring day-to-day production activities in a chemical manufacturing facility specializing in paint driers. The role ensures that production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality, environmental, and regulatory standards. This position works closely with Quality Control, Maintenance, Stores, and EHS teams to maintain smooth plant operations, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
· Execute daily production plans for paint driers and related chemical products as per batch schedules and production targets.
· Monitor raw material availability and coordinate with stores and procurement to avoid production interruptions.
· Supervise batch processing, mixing, reaction, filtration, filling, and packing operations as per approved procedures.
· Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, process parameters, and batch manufacturing records.
· Maintain product quality by coordinating with Quality Control for in-process checks, sampling, testing, and release requirements.
· Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations related to chemical handling, storage, and manufacturing.
· Enforce proper use of PPE and safe handling practices for solvents, metallic compounds, additives, and other hazardous chemicals.
· Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive maintenance, breakdown handling, and equipment readiness.
· Monitor production yield, wastage, downtime, and efficiency, and take corrective action to improve performance.
· Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, batch documentation, and inventory consumption data.
· Support investigation and resolution of process deviations, quality issues, and customer complaints related to production.
· Train and guide operators and shop-floor staff on process discipline, safety practices, and quality requirements.
· Assist in implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cycle time, cost, and plant productivity.
· Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained across the production area.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of relevant experience in chemical manufacturing, preferably in paint, coatings, additives, driers, or allied process industries.
Required Skills
· Good knowledge of chemical production processes and batch manufacturing operations
· Understanding of paint drier formulations, process controls, and chemical compatibility
· Knowledge of safety practices for hazardous chemicals and flammable materials
· Ability to read and maintain batch records, SOPs, and production reports
· Strong problem-solving, coordination, and troubleshooting skills
· Basic understanding of quality systems, GMP-like discipline, and regulatory compliance
· Leadership ability to manage operators and shift manpower effectively
· Good communication and reporting skills
· Working knowledge of MS Excel and production documentation systems
Working Conditions
This role is primarily plant-based and may require shift work, extended hours during production demands, and strict adherence to safety procedures. The employee is expected to work in a chemical manufacturing environment involving process equipment, drums, reactors, mixers, and potentially hazardous materials.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
