Position Overview
The Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by ensuring seamless coordination of sales operations, order processing, customer communication, and interdepartmental collaboration. The incumbent will be responsible for managing sales documentation, preparing reports, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely execution of customer requirements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day sales operations and provide administrative support to the sales team.
- Process customer enquiries, quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders with accuracy and within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Logistics, Finance, and Service teams to ensure timely order execution and dispatch.
- Maintain and update customer records, sales databases, and CRM systems.
- Track order status and proactively communicate updates to customers and the sales team.
- Prepare sales reports, MIS, forecasts, pending order reports, and performance dashboards for management review.
- Assist in preparing tender documents, commercial proposals, and customer presentations.
- Monitor order fulfilment, dispatch schedules, and payment status, and coordinate with customers for smooth order closure.
- Support the sales team in organizing meetings, product launches, exhibitions, dealer meets, and promotional activities.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, and compliance with company policies and sales processes.
- Handle customer queries and coordinate with internal departments to ensure prompt resolution.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales Coordination, Sales Support, Commercial Operations, or Customer Service within the Manufacturing, Electrical, Solar, Power Backup, or Industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, order management, and customer coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/CRM systems.
