Madras Tubular Rivets Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of rivets and fastening components, is looking for a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our quality team.
The candidate will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Verify dimensions as per drawings and specifications.
- Use measuring instruments such as:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Thread Gauge
- Plug Gauge
- Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Support continuous improvement activities.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams.
RequirementsEducation
- Diploma / ITI / Any Degree
- Mechanical or Production Engineering preferred
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Quality Inspection
- Experience in Fasteners, Rivets, Automotive, or Manufacturing industries preferred
Skills Required
- Knowledge of measuring instruments
- Understanding of engineering drawings
- Basic GD&T knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to work in shifts if required
