1. Job Summary
XLNT Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Quality Engineer to ensure product quality across all stages of manufacturing. The role involves handling incoming, in-process, and final inspection, along with root cause analysis, customer complaints, and process improvements in a Manufacturing environment.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and components
- Conduct in-process inspection during machining operations
- Carry out final inspection before dispatch
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records
- Develop and implement control plans, process flow diagrams, and SOPs
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
- Conduct why-why analysis for rejection cases
- Monitor and reduce rejection rates and cost of poor quality (COPQ)
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001, etc.)
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and design teams for quality improvement
- Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments
3. Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of quality control processes in manufacturing
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes (Turning, VMC)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & GD&T
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.)
- Knowledge of root cause analysis tools (Why-Why, Fishbone, etc.)
- Understanding of process planning, control plans, and inspection methods
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
4. Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering
- Freshers with strong fundamentals OR candidates with 2–6 years experience

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
