Job Summary
Are you a self-motivated go-getter who thrives under pressure? Do you have natural leadership skills and a deep understanding of the corporate, leisure, and B2B travel landscape in Odisha?
As a Hotel Salesperson for Suviraj Hotels, you will be the face of our brand across the state. You will be fully responsible for driving room revenue, securing corporate tie-ups, partnering with travel agents, and locking in event/wedding bookings. We want a leader who can work independently, set targets, and hustle to achieve them.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Penetration: Identify, pitch, and secure new business opportunities across major hubs in Odisha (Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Sambalpur, etc.).
- B2B & Corporate Tie-ups: Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators (FIT/GIT), and event planners.
- Event & Wedding Sales: Actively pitch our hotel venues for destination weddings, social events, conferences, and corporate retreats.
- Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual room revenue and banquet targets.
- Competitor & Market Analysis: Monitor local hospitality trends, competitor pricing, and market demands to pitch strategic packages.
- Reporting: Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide weekly reports on client acquisition and market feedback to the management.
Who We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- The Leader Mindset: You don't wait for instructions. You take complete ownership of your territory and treat it like your own business.
- Unmatched Work Ethic: You are hardworking, resilient, and willing to travel extensively across Odisha to meet clients face-to-face.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven sales experience in the Hospitality / Hotel industry (Candidates with a strong existing network of Odisha travel agents and corporates will be highly preferred).
- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills in Odia, Hindi, and English.
- Education: A Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus, but proven sales execution matters most.
