Job Summary
We're seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead our Marketing and Communications team in
India, supporting our global business. This is a critical role responsible for implementing marketing
and communication strategies that significantly impact Aptia's brand awareness, lead generation
and colleague engagement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with highly
skilled professionals and passionate industry experts while contributing directly to our success.
This role demands an experienced, proactive resource manager, who can handle the complexities
of the pensions administration industry and is passionate about leading a team that supports the
business through its industry challenges and opportunities, ultimately driving us to success.
You'll be adept at process and resource management, leading a team, fostering a collaborative and
results-oriented environment.
Main responsibilities
- Team management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content creators, digital
marketers and designers, leveraging and directing their skills to produce quality internal
and external communication.
- Marketing Operations: Design, develop and implement effective marketing operations
(processes, procedures and systems) that support strong delivery through the team to
Group Marketing.
Internal Only
- Workflow allocation: Ensure full utilisation of the team resource in India, working with the
Group’s marketing teams in the UK and US. Develop processes and systems that support a
collegiate team environment.
- Relationship building: Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business – this
will include colleagues at all levels of seniority who you will support to achieve business
goals through internal and external communications.
- Marketing strategy: Execute a comprehensive employer brand strategy, ensuring verifiable
results and alignment with Aptia Group's overall marketing goals and objectives.
- Internal Communications: Oversee and manage the delivery of the Internal
Communications strategy for India Internal Communications, and provide significant
support for Group.
- Market analysis and strategy: Stay abreast of marketing and industry trends, challenges and
opportunities and implement new technologies or strategies that can enhance the
business’s competitive edge. Lead efforts to launch new products, including identifying
opportunities and designing take-to-market marketing strategies.
- Campaign development and execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and
measurement of multi-channel campaigns, including digital, print, events, and more.
Implement strategies to generate and nurture leads, supporting the sales team in
converting prospects into customers.
- Data-driven decision making: Utilise data analysis to inform marketing and communications
decisions, track campaign effectiveness, and optimise future marketing efforts, while
implementing metrics and KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
Required skills
- Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in marketing and communications roles.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing relationships with senior individuals to
achieve significant results.
- Proven experience in delivering services from a marketing team at pace, whilst maintaining
a supportive collegiate team environment. Ensuring resource allocation is optimal.
- Demonstrated success in building and growing a brand and successfully engaging
colleagues and stakeholders (internal and external).
- Extensive knowledge of various marketing functions, including commercial, content, and
SEO, to effectively manage senior individuals in each area and leverage their roles to drive
brand growth and engagement.
- Strong strategic planning skills with a history of developing and nurturing teams to support
significant business success.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, along with the ability to employ these
skills to closely support and review internal and external content, ensuring the highest
quality at all times.
