AC Technician Responsibilities
Installation of Split AC, Window AC, Cassette AC, and Central Air Conditioning Systems.
Preventive maintenance and servicing of air conditioning units.
Gas charging, leak detection, and refrigerant recovery.
Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults.
Compressor, capacitor, thermostat, PCB, and fan motor replacement.
Ducting and insulation work.
Performance testing and commissioning of AC systems.
Maintaining service reports and customer records.
Home Appliance Technician Responsibilities
Installation, repair, and maintenance of household appliances.
Diagnosing faults in refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, geysers, water purifiers, induction cooktops, and dishwashers.
Replacement of defective components such as motors, timers, switches, sensors, and control boards.
Electrical wiring and testing of appliances.
Customer support and after-service maintenance.
Ensuring safety standards during repair and installation.
Maintaining inventory of spare parts and tools.
Required Skills
Knowledge of electrical circuits and appliance components.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.
Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of refrigerants and HVAC systems.
Customer handling and communication skills.
Basic computer/mobile app usage for service reporting.
