Position: General Manager (GM)

Position Summary
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for leading and overseeing all business operations of the immigration and study abroad consultancy. The GM will drive operational excellence, business growth, profitability, compliance, customer satisfaction, and ensure effective coordination across all departments and branch locations.This role requires strategic leadership, strong people management skills, and accountability for achieving organizational goals while upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement long-term business strategies.
- Set organizational goals and ensure alignment across departments.
- Business Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Optimize processes and workflows.
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue business growth opportunities.
- Drive sales initiatives and revenue generation.
- Branch Performance Management
- Monitor and enhance branch performance.
- Ensure consistent standards across all locations.
- Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop staff at all levels.
- Foster a positive and high-performance work culture.
- Client Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate business risks.
- Financial Management
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Optimize profitability and cost management.
- HR & Organizational Development
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Drive organizational development initiatives.
- Reporting & Management Reviews
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management.
- Conduct periodic reviews and recommend improvements.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
Experience
- 8–25 years of experience in Operations, Business Management, or General Management.
- Minimum 8 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in Immigration, Education, Service Industry, MNCs, or the Automobile Industry preferred.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
