A Civil Construction Project Manager oversees projects from start to finish, ensuring they're completed on time, within budget, and to quality/safety standards by planning, coordinating teams (engineers, architects, contractors), managing resources (materials, labor, equipment), handling contracts, and communicating with clients and stakeholders, requiring strong leadership, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
Experience: 10 - 12 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and work schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track costs, and minimize overspending.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage labor, materials, and equipment, including procurement.
- Team Leadership: Hire, supervise, and guide construction teams, including subcontractors and site managers.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers, providing regular progress reports.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to building codes, regulations, and strict health and safety standards.
- Contract & Risk Management: Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relations, and mitigate project risks.
- Site Supervision: Monitor on-site progress, quality, and productivity.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of construction procedures, materials, project management principles, and relevant software (e.g., MS Office, scheduling tools).
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Certifications: PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
Salary : upto 18L PA
