Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
The Senior Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of technology solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance. The role oversees multiple delivery teams, manages customer relationships, and is accountable for delivery governance, project financials, order management, and P&L. Working closely with business stakeholders and support functions, the Senior Delivery Manager ensures delivery commitments align with business objectives and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple teams, ensuring quality, predictable execution, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the primary delivery contact.
- Own project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue, costs, profitability, and P&L.
- Manage the end-to-end customer order lifecycle, ensuring orders are appropriately scoped, funded, resourced, and delivered.
- Monitor delivery performance, risks, dependencies, and financial metrics, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Lead and mentor delivery teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish delivery governance, reporting, and performance metrics while promoting Agile delivery practices.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience managing technology delivery, projects or programs.
- Proven experience leading customer-facing delivery engagements and managing multiple teams.
- Strong experience managing budgets, forecasting, project financials, and P&L.
- Experience with order management, commercial delivery, and stakeholder governance.
- Good understanding of Agile and project delivery methodologies.
- Proficiency with delivery management tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing large enterprise programs or strategic customer accounts.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks (including SAFe), ITIL, and DevOps practices.
- Managing projects, programs in Energy & Utilities domain
