The Export/Import Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, preparing export/import documentation, and coordinating with freight forwarders, customs authorities, customers, and internal departments. The role ensures timely and cost-effective movement of goods while complying with applicable trade laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete export and import documentation, including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading (B/L)
- Airway Bill (AWB)
- Certificate of Origin
- Insurance Documents
- Shipping Bills
- Letter of Credit (LC) Documentation
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and transporters.
- Arrange customs clearance for export and import consignments.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers and management.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, FEMA, RBI, and other applicable export-import regulations.
- Prepare and verify all shipping documents before dispatch.
- Coordinate with production, stores, logistics, finance, and sales teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Handle export incentives, EPCG, Advance Authorization, RoDTEP, and other government schemes, where applicable.
- Maintain records of all export/import transactions and documentation.
- Resolve shipment-related issues such as delays, shortages, damages, or customs queries.
- Prepare MIS reports related to exports, imports, shipping status, and documentation.
- Liaise with banks for LC documentation, export realization, and import payments.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and international trade regulations.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in export/import operations.
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, electrical, or infrastructure industries is preferred
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
