Job description:
Fresher Opening for GNM or B. Sc Nursing Staff
a) Perform all nursing duties in accordance with the Indian Nursing Council Act specific to the state you are working in, while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.
b) Monitor patient progress and identifies any changes in status, acting on those changes to insure patient comfort and safety while reporting any changes in patient’s condition to the immediate supervisor and following up with proper documentation.
c) Assist physicians and all healthcare professionals caring for patient, always giving a complete and thorough report on patient status at the end of shift/ assignment.
d) Perform routine nursing care to assigned patients, while utilizing age specific and universal precaution practices at all times.
e) Practice teaching / training for patients and families.
f) Follow hospital policy when disposing of bio-hazardous materials, labeling and handling of all materials.
g) Actively demonstrate a working knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, principles and practice in order to holistically care the patient.
h) Communicate with all staff, patients and families with excellent written and verbal skills.
i) Consistently seek educational tools in order to broaden knowledge base of various age groups, disease and best practices.
j) Will handle and be knowledge able of all medical equipment utilized in the care of the patient.
k) Must be able to perform various sensory requirements such as; vision, speech, smell, touch, manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and hearing in order to assess and treat the patient accurately.
l) Comply with all facility policy and procedure, while upholding the expectations of the St. Joseph’s Hospital.
1) Monitor exact, detailed reports and records of critical ICU patient.
2) Monitor and record symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions and inform to physician.
3) Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostics tests to identify and assess patient’s condition.
4) Carefully observe and document patient medical information’s and vital signs.
5) Document patients’ medical histories and assessment findings.
6) Document patients’ treatment plans, interventions, outcomes, or plan revisions.
7) Consult and coordinate with health care team members about whole patient care plans.
8) Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient’s response and conditions.
9) Monitor the critical patients for changes in status and indications of conditions such as sepsis or shock and institute appropriate interventions.
Qualification:
GNM (Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery). Or B.Sc Nursing
Pay: ₹15,000.86 - ₹22,000.45 per month
