Job Responsibilities.
1. Overall Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensuring execution of works as per approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
2. Operational Responsibilities
- Plan daily and weekly site activities and allocate manpower, machinery, and resources accordingly.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments including Structural, MEP, Planning, and QA/QC teams.
- Ensure timely availability of materials and machinery at site.
- Prepare quantity estimations for all activities based on approved drawings.
- Supervise and monitor execution activities including excavation, concreting, masonry, plastering, reinforcement, shuttering, and finishing works.
- Ensure all works are executed as per approved construction drawings and specifications.
- Ensure workmanship and materials comply with approved quality standards and method statements.
- Conduct site inspections and raise RFIs/inspection requests to consultants or QA/QC teams.
- Ensure corrective actions for NCRs and site observations are implemented effectively.
- Take accurate measurements of executed work for billing and reporting purposes.
- Support preparation of RA bills, client bills, and subcontractor bills.
- Maintain records of material consumption and monitor wastage control.
- Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), labor deployment records, and activity checklists.
- Update site drawings, site instruction logs, and material registers regularly.
- Report delays, deviations, and technical/site issues to senior management for timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, PPE requirements, and site safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the Safety Officer for toolbox talks, safety awareness, and accident prevention activities.
3. Team Responsibilities
- Assist the Reporting Manager in day-to-day activities including planning, coordination, monitoring, correspondence, and administrative work.
- Coordinate closely with project teams, inter-departments, PMC, and clients for decisions related to project execution.
- Maintain positive team dynamics and support all team members.
- Assist in training and development of junior staff and subordinates.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of civil construction and structural works
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Understanding of quality and safety standards at construction sites
- Experience in quantity estimation and billing support
- Good coordination, communication, and reporting skills
- Basic computer knowledge including MS Excel and project documentation
- Experience in infrastructure/construction projects preferred
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
