NPD Engineer (Outdoor Metal Furniture)
Location: Dahisar Mumbai
Client is in manufacture & Designing of architectural-grade, weather-resistant metal furniture and luxury outdoor accessories.
Education: Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in NPD, preferably in furniture, sheet metal fabrication, or consumer durables.
Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SolidWorks or CATIA (3D modeling, surfacing, drafting).
Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Engineering: Design, develop, and prototype new outdoor furniture lines and accessories using 3D CAD software.
Material & Process Selection: Work with sheet metal fabrication, tubular structures, robotic welding, and specialized powder coating processes.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure designs comply with outdoor durability standards, including corrosion resistance and salt spray testing.
