Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Lab Technician to perform laboratory tests, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure accurate reporting of test results. The candidate should be knowledgeable in laboratory procedures and committed to maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, and process patient samples accurately.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses as per protocols.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Record and document test results accurately.
- Follow laboratory safety and infection control guidelines.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of samples and reagents.
- Maintain laboratory inventory and stock records.
- Assist in quality control and quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Microbiology, B.Sc. Biotechnology, B.Sc. Chemistry, DMLT, or B.Sc. MLT.
- 1–3 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory or hospital setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and equipment.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
