Job Summary
The Tele Sales Executive is responsible for generating business opportunities and increasing sales revenue through outbound and inbound telephonic communication with customers. The role involves identifying potential customers, explaining company products and services, handling customer inquiries, following up on leads, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, customer handling ability, persuasion capability, and a proactive approach toward sales and customer engagement.
The Tele Sales Executive acts as the first point of contact between the company and prospective customers and plays a key role in business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tele Calling & Customer Interaction
- Make outbound calls to new and existing customers.
- Attend inbound customer calls professionally and courteously.
- Introduce company products, services, and offers to customers.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Build customer interest through effective communication.
- Maintain proper call etiquette and professionalism during all interactions.
2. Lead Generation & Sales Conversion
- Generate new business leads through telephonic conversations.
- Identify prospective customers and business opportunities.
- Follow up on inquiries received from marketing campaigns, websites, social media, references, and other channels.
- Convert leads into confirmed customers/orders.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with interested customers.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Maintain regular communication with customers for repeat business.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain customer satisfaction through professional service.
- Collect customer feedback and update management accordingly.
4. Product Knowledge & Presentation
- Develop strong knowledge about company products/services.
- Explain product features, specifications, pricing, and benefits clearly.
- Communicate promotional offers and schemes effectively.
- Suggest suitable products/services based on customer needs.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of calls, customer interactions, and sales status.
- Update customer information in CRM/software/excel sheets.
- Prepare daily call reports and sales activity reports.
- Track lead status and follow-up schedules.
- Submit performance reports to reporting manager.
6. Coordination & Internal Communication
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, accounts, and support teams for smooth customer handling.
- Ensure timely order processing and customer updates.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher management when required.

- Fluent in regional language(s)
- Basic English communication preferred
