Job Summary
The Senior Product Owner, Temenos Transact, is accountable for shaping, prioritising and delivering the strategic product roadmap for the Bank's core banking capabilities within the Wealth technology ecosystem. The role is responsible for multiple squads within the Hive and acts as the senior interface between business stakeholders, technology teams, architecture, operations, risk partners and vendors. The role maximises business value from T24 by balancing strategic transformation, regulatory delivery, operational resilience, platform stability and simplification outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Define, communicate and maintain the Temenos Transact product vision, strategy and multi-quarter roadmap across multiple squads.
- Align the T24 roadmap to Wealth and Private Banking strategy, regulatory commitments, booking centre priorities and technology modernisation objectives.
- Identify opportunities to simplify the platform, improve straight-through processing, strengthen operational resilience and reduce manual processing or control risk.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Engineering to shape long-term platform direction, including integration, data, API, batch, resilience and upgrade strategies.
Business
- Own business outcomes, product priorities and value realisation for T24 capabilities across the relevant Wealth Core Platform scope.
- Translate strategic objectives, regulatory requirements and stakeholder demand into clear epics, features, acceptance criteria and delivery outcomes.
- Lead investment prioritisation and support business case development for strategic T24 initiatives and squad capacity allocation.
- Ensure business stakeholders have clear visibility of delivery progress, trade-offs, risks, dependencies and decisions required.
Processes
- Own and maintain an integrated T24 product backlog across multiple squads, ensuring demand is prioritised based on business value, risk, dependency and delivery capacity.
- Drive quarterly planning, sprint readiness, release governance, go-live readiness and post-implementation review disciplines.
- Ensure requirements, process flows, data impacts, controls, non-functional requirements and operational readiness activities are sufficiently defined before delivery commitment.
- Oversee delivery for major initiatives which may include business enablement or regulatory/industry change core banking platform upgrades.
People & Talent
- Provide leadership, direction and coaching to Product Owners, Business Analysts and squad delivery roles across the Hive.
- Build product management capability by improving backlog quality, stakeholder engagement, value tracking and decision discipline.
- Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, transparency and outcome-based delivery across multiple squads.
- Support succession planning, resource allocation, role clarity and talent development for product and business analysis capabilities.
Risk Management
- Ensure T24 changes are delivered in line with technology, operational risk, information security, data, resilience and change management requirements.
- Proactively identify, assess, escalate and manage delivery, regulatory, operational, platform and vendor risks.
- Ensure production incidents, audit findings, control gaps and risk events are translated into actionable remediation items in the product backlog.
- Embed resilience, recoverability, business continuity, data quality and client impact considerations into roadmap and delivery decisions.
Governance
- Chair or participate in product governance forums, steering committees, design authorities, prioritisation forums and delivery reviews.
- Ensure alignment with architecture standards, SDLC controls, testing entry / exit criteria, change governance and release approval requirements.
- Provide clear executive reporting on roadmap progress, delivery health, financials, risks, issues, dependencies and key decisions required.
- Ensure dependencies across T24, downstream platforms, data feeds, operations teams, vendors and business functions are actively managed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
- Agile Product Management, Scaled Agile / SAFe, Technology Delivery Governance, Risk and Control, Leadership Development.
- Licenses: N/A unless required by local jurisdiction or role scope.
- Relevant professional memberships preferred but not mandatory.
- Preferred: SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Agile Leadership, Product Management certification.
- English mandatory. Additional regional languages beneficial depending on market scope.
