Role Overview
Brilliant National School is seeking a passionate Social Science Teacher to teach History, Civics, Geography, and Economics as per CBSE curriculum, fostering awareness, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver Social Science lessons aligned with the CBSE syllabus (History, Political Science, Geography, Economics).

Use maps, charts, case studies, and real-life examples to make concepts engaging and relatable.

Prepare and evaluate class tests, project work, assignments, and term examinations; maintain proper academic records.

Encourage discussions, presentations, and debates to develop analytical and critical thinking skills.

Integrate current affairs and contemporary issues to build socio-political awareness.

Guide students in project work, Social Science exhibitions, and CBSE-mandated activities.

Maintain discipline and inclusive practices in the classroom, respecting diverse views and backgrounds.

Communicate student performance and behavior updates to parents during PTMs and through regular reports.
Eligibility / Qualifications

Graduate/Postgraduate in History/Political Science/Geography/Economics or related Social Science discipline.

B.Ed. (mandatory), CTET/KARTET preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Social Science in CBSE/ICSE schools.

Strong communication skills, clarity in explanation, and ability to connect concepts to real-world context.
Work Location & Timings

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (one Saturday off as per school policy, if applicable)
