We are looking for an experienced VMC Operator Cum Programmer to join our machining team. The candidate should be capable of creating CNC programs, setting up VMC machines, selecting tools, and producing components as per engineering drawings while maintaining quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare CNC programs using Mastercam (2D/3D).
- Operate and set up VMC machines independently.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Select cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Perform machine setting, tool offset, and prove-out of new programs.
- Produce components within specified tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Bore Gauge.
- Optimize machining cycle time and improve productivity.
- Maintain daily production records.
- Follow safety procedures and 5S standards.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in VMC Programming & Operation.
- Strong knowledge of Mastercam Programming.
- Experience with Fanuc Controller preferred.
- Knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters, and fixture setting.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues independently.
