Job Description: Department Manager – Retail Fashion Industry (Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Delhi)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Department Manager to lead operations in our fashion retail store . The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall performance of the department. This role requires strong leadership, a keen eye for fashion trends, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Performance Management
Achieve departmental sales targets and KPIs.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
Implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Customer Experience
Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Handle escalated customer queries and complaints professionally.
Maintain a welcoming and fashion-forward shopping environment.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and supervise sales associates and floor staff.
Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
Foster a positive and motivated team culture.
Merchandising & Inventory
Oversee product displays, visual merchandising, and stock rotation.
Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely replenishment.
Monitor inventory levels and minimize shrinkage.
Operational Excellence
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety standards.
Manage scheduling, payroll inputs, and daily floor operations.
Support store manager in overall store management activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in retail fashion, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
Strong knowledge of fashion trends, customer preferences, and retail operations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and retail POS systems.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
