About the Role
The role involves leading and executing critical Trust & Safety testing efforts for Android and ChromeOS platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, hands-on automation skills, and deep expertise in privacy, security, and regulatory compliance across diverse user domains.
Responsibilities

Test Team Leadership: Guide and mentor test engineers; define and drive the overall test strategy.

Hands-on Testing & Automation: Perform both manual and automated testing on Android/ChromeOS devices. Develop test automation using Java/Python.

Code Contributions: Create and review code changes (CLs) using Git.

Core Domain Testing: Senior QA for Privacy & Security, Regulatory Resilience, and PWG across Consumer, Enterprise, and EDU.

Cross-Domain Validation: Test features across Consumer, Commercial, and Unicorn domains.

Feature-Specific Testing: Ensure thorough testing of DMA and core Chrome features.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

8+ years in QA/Test Engineering, including 3+ years in a technical lead role.

Strong experience in Android and ChromeOS device testing.

Proficient in both manual and automated testing.

Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.

Proven experience with Trust & Safety modules (privacy, security, compliance).

Experience testing across multiple user domains (Consumer, Commercial, Unicorn).

Experience with Trust & Safety modules, Git workflows, and dashboard creation

Solid understanding of DMA and Chrome feature testing.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the Go or Python programming language.

Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems.

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
