Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, accuracy in financial reporting, and knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Assist management in financial planning and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Oracle, or ERP systems).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance requirements.
