About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager who is a qualified Architect to oversee the end-to-end execution of architectural scale model projects. This role strictly requires a candidate with an architecture background (B.Arch), as the position demands the ability to read, interpret, and validate architectural drawings with precision. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between clients and the model-making team, ensuring every project is delivered on time, to scale, and to the highest standard of craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with clients to collect drawings, CAD files, renders, and other reference materials required to build accurate scale models.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, and elevations to ensure the model-making team has clear, accurate specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the in-house model-making team (fabrication, electricals, landscaping, finishing) to plan workflow and timelines.
- Track project progress at each stage — structure, detailing, lighting, and finishing — ensuring quality checks throughout.
- Manage project timelines, flag delays early, and coordinate resources to meet deadlines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing revisions or feedback.
- Ensure all technical requirements (scale accuracy, materials, lighting systems, mechanisms like hydraulics or pull-out trays) are clearly communicated to the production team.
- Coordinate final quality checks, packaging, and installation/delivery logistics.
- Maintain project documentation, including timelines, material lists, and client communication records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience).
- Prior experience in project management, architecture, model making, or a related industry.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory); familiarity with SketchUp, Photoshop, or 3ds Max is a plus.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of model-making materials, techniques, and mechanisms (lighting, hydraulics, movable components) is a plus.
- Proficiency in project tracking tools (Excel, similar) is a plus.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
