Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-friendly Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring smooth day-to-day retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend to walk-in customers and assist them with their needs in a friendly and professional manner
Provide product information and guide customers to make suitable purchase decisions
Handle billing and payment transactions accurately using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the store at all times
Arrange and rack products neatly on shelves and counters
Ensure the counter area is well-organized and presentable
Monitor stock levels and inform management about shortages
Assist in store opening and closing activities
Requirements:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Neat and presentable appearance
Prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory
