Bluepeak Construction Private Limited is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Senior Investment Analyst to support the company's investment activities across U.S. financial markets.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of U.S. markets and investment products and will assist in researching, analyzing, and evaluating investment opportunities across multiple asset classes.
This is a remote position based in India.
Key ResponsibilitiesInvestment Research & Analysis
- Conduct detailed research and analysis on U.S. financial markets.
- Analyze investment opportunities across equities, ETFs, fixed income, real estate, and alternative investments.
- Monitor macroeconomic trends, market developments, and global economic events affecting investment decisions.
- Prepare investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
- Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessments.
Market Research
- Track U.S. stock market performance and identify investment opportunities.
- Analyze company financial statements, industry trends, and market conditions.
- Evaluate sectors, industries, and emerging investment themes.
- Monitor economic indicators, interest rates, inflation, and monetary policy developments.
Portfolio & Strategy Support
- Assist management in developing investment strategies and portfolio allocation recommendations.
- Conduct portfolio reviews and performance analysis.
- Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for portfolio optimization.
- Support due diligence activities related to investment opportunities.
Business Support
- Assist with strategic business initiatives, market intelligence, and ad hoc projects.
- Prepare periodic investment updates and reports for management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA, CFA, CA, or progress toward professional certifications will be preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in investment research, financial analysis, or U.S. financial markets.
- Experience working with U.S. equity markets and investment products is mandatory.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of U.S. financial markets and investment principles.
- Knowledge of equities, ETFs, bonds, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
- Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional research and quantitative analysis capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience analyzing U.S. stocks and investment opportunities.
- Familiarity with financial platforms such as Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, TradingView, Seeking Alpha, or similar research platforms.
- Prior experience with investment advisory, portfolio management, wealth management, equity research, or family office operations is preferred.
